About Dr. Mendes Neto
I'm Dr. Nilson N. Mendes Neto, M.D., a physician-scientist from Brazil. I've spent the past 6 years conducting crucial research on arboviruses in northwest Brazil, particularly focusing on Congenital Zika Syndrome (CZS) and its neurological complications. Additionally, I have been investigating novel treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for chronic pain associated with conditions such as fibromyalgia and headaches. In recognition of the significance of my research, I received the 2018 International Investigator Award from the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA). Currently, I'm pursuing my Masters of Medical Sciences in Clinical Investigation at Harvard Medical School.

I am a passionate telemedicine specialist who strongly believes in providing affordable healthcare access to all. Together with my medical team, we are currently developing a telemedicine startup called Telemedicos. With the support of Starlink's internet service in Ukraine, we aim to offer free consultations with doctors to the Ukrainian population. By the end of 2022, Telemedicos plans to launch its comprehensive medical services, connecting individuals with highly skilled doctors who can provide quality consultations.
